Orthofix Academy Team members are continuously committed to behave ethically and actively contribute to progress education and orthopedic medical science in the name of our mission: to improve patients’ lives.
We are also conscious that patients and people lives hugely depend from the environment conditions. This is why Orthofix Academy through Treedom supports the Earth and Mother Nature planting trees dedicated to our Participant attending our courses worldwide.
Orthofix Academy with Treedom are developing a Cocoa forest in Cameroon, thus improving food safety for the rural population, increasing the local agricultural resources and offering additional income opportunities.
The diversity of the landscape is one of the features that make this country special. Located in West-Central Africa, Cameroon has a 400 Km coastline along the Atlantic Ocean: as we move further inland, the coastal plain breaks up into various plateaus, often covered by equatorial rainforests. Cameroon has no shortage of mountains: Mount Cameroon (4,095 meters) is one of the highest summits in Africa.
A simple way to effectively contribute to the planet environment health and, at the same time, a symbolic representation of Orthofix Academy never-ending educational progress and of professional and personal growth.
